Active presence of the civil society & human rights network of Afghanistan «In Afghanistan International Conference in Bonn»

Bonn conference which gained great importance in current situation, defines the role of international community in betterment of security and support of Afghanistan after 2014. This conference which was held in Bonn city of Germany with the huge participation of international community, acquired international coverage, the conference also acquired a lot of significance for the people of Afghanistan . The most important message of this conference is the commitment of the international community for the future of Afghanistan . In this conference, the government of the United States of America , European Union member countries, India Japan, Canada , Australia and all of the engaged countries in reconstruction and security of Afghanistan sent their authorized representatives, expressed their continued commitment of supporting the new system, keeping the values of the democracy, respecting the human rights and the rule of law.Report01-10-5

Mrs. Hillary Clinton, minister of foreign affairs of the United States of America, expressed her government’s support from Afghanistan and insisted on strengthening the civil society, respect for the values of human rights & democracy in her five minutes speeches in this conference.

Mrs. Merkel, prime minister of Germany, on behalf of her government as well as on behalf of the European Union called the respect of the human rights, one of the significant preconditions of the states of this Union for supporting Afghanistan . Other participant countries focused on a legal system, based on Afghanistan constitution that reveals the importance of the conference for the people of Afghanistan.

Civil society congregation was held one day before this conference in Bonn, 34 representatives of civil society who were democratically elected by the civil society organizations of the country has participated in this conference.

In civil society congregation in Bonn , 10 members of Civil Society & Human Rights Network (CSHRN) also, participated, who broadcasted the message of Civil Society & Human Rights Network (CSHRN) in this important congregation. Civil society organizations of Afghanistan have summed up their views with connection to the Bonn conference in this congregation. Civil society conference in Bonn was the indicator of a very significant element and that the international community places great importance on the role of civil society in Afghanistan . On the other hand, holding conference by civil society organizations in Bonn had positive impact on the legacy of Afghanistan international conference in Bonn . Civil society that has the role of taking the message of Afghanistan ‘s People to the international community and the government of Afghanistan , has insisted on human rights values and the institutionalization of the values of democracy in Afghanistan.

Civil society and human rights network of Afghanistan , played an active and significant role in both of conferences, at civil society conference, representatives and member organizations of the network discussed about the role of women in the structure of the system, strengthening democracy, consolidating the rule of law, popularization of human rights values and promotion of legitimacy in Afghanistan.

In Afghanistan international conference in Bonn, which was launched by the participation of the representatives of more than 90 countries, two representatives from the civil society of Afghanistan has also attended, in the elections which was launched in Kabul for the participation of the two representatives of the civil society in this conference, fortunately both of the candidates of civil society and human rights network (CSHRN) has won and discussed the prominent role of the network nationwide. Mrs. Sally Ghafar, the head of Humanly Assistance Organization for women and children and the board member of civil society and human rights network of Afghanistan and Mr. Bari Salaam, spokesman of CSHRN and the president of good morning Afghanistan radio, has been selected as the representatives of civil society and human rights network of Afghanistan in this important conference with the majority of votes. Both of the representatives stated the message of civil society organizations by their active participation in the conference to the participants of this important congregation.

In a part of the message which was expressed by the civil society of Afghanistan to the address of Afghanistan international conference in Bonn, it’s stated that all of the changes in Afghanistan should be arisen from the values of Afghanistan constitution and there should be no deal with these values. The role of the women in the betterment of Afghanistan situation should be respected and the values of human rights and democracy should be changed into foregrounds for every change in Afghanistan . In the message the significant role of the civil society of Afghanistan and the creation of the builder dialogue between the state and the citizens of Afghanistan was also discussed through the active role of the civil society.

The active presence of the civil society in the conference is the indicator of the element, that for the future of Afghanistan , the civil society has important messages and views and the civil society of Afghanistan should not be assumed as an abstracted phenomenon. However, civil society of Afghanistan , like any other phenomenon in the process of system making in the country is depended to the role of the international community. But altogether civil society will gain its role and place in Afghanistan.

The active participation of the members of the civil society and human rights network (CSHRN) of Afghanistan , in both of the congregations in Bonn , is the indicator of prestige and active place of these organizations around the country. The secretariat of the civil society ad human rights network of Afghanistan is appreciating the active role of its member organizations in both of the congregations, and decided to act an active and builder role of the civil society in important national programs.
